Primary Health Care is rendered by the Matlosana District. Health Services rendered are:

• Mother & Child, Immunisations, weight
• Family planning
• Minor ailments
• Chronic treatment
• PMTCT
• VCT
• STI treatment
• TB
• ANC & PNC aute & Post natal care
• Youth education
• Nutritional Services

There are 4 health centers which operate 24hrs and provide maternity services. There are 14 clinics which operate from 07h30 – 16h00 but each clinic has extended hrs till 19:00 on different days.
• There are mobile clinics which provide service at the farms and new areas
• There is a youth centre which provide service and youth education on life orientation skills

Primary Health Care is of utmost importance to the City Council of Matlosana. Our contribution towards the community we continuously strive to do better and provide more wherever possible.

The Environmental Health Services has been transferred to the Dr. Kenneth Kaunda District Municipality from 1 December 2007, as stipulated in the Health Act. Environmental Health Practitioners are still rendering the same services within the Matlosana area.
